Crispy Chicken Sliders Recipe

Ingredients (from the Video)

  • 2 – 3 skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into small Slider-Sized pieces
  • Chicken Seasoning (Recipe below)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Oil, for frying
  • Slider-Sized Buns, to match number of Chicken Patties
  • Mayonnaise
  • Pickles, of your choice
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Lettuce, pulled apart

  1. Season chicken pieces with chicken seasoning and pound flat.
  2. Place chicken into a bowl and add Dijon mustard. Mix to coat all surfaces.
  3. Pour in buttermilk. Mix. Cover and place chicken in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Place flour in a large bowl.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon chicken seasoning, baking soda and baking powder. Mix.
  6. Remove chicken from refrigerator.
  7. Take 1 piece of chicken and place them in the flour bowl. Toss to coat evenly. Place on a plate. Continue until all chicken pieces are coated.
  8. Heat oil in a large saucepan to 350 – 375°F.
  9. Fry chicken pieces in hot oil, turning once, after about 6 – 8 minutes. Fry another 6 – 8 minutes. Remove from oil when both sides are a golden brown.
  10. Toast the buns.
  11. Spread buns with mayonnaise (or other condiment of choice.)
  12. Add a chicken patty, pickles, tomato, lettuce and/or other toppings of choice.

Chicken Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoons freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garlic Powder

  1. Mix everything together.
