Lemony Torn Ciabatta Croutons Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup finely torn Ciabatta Bread
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes to taste
  • Zest of 1 Lemon

Instructions
 

  • Add olive oil to a large skillet.
  • Place over medium heat.
  • When oil is hot and starts to shimmer, add bread and a pinch or so red pepper flakes.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally until bread is toasted all over, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and quickly stir in the lemon zest.
  • Pour bread crumbs onto a plate. Wipe the skillet clean and save for main recipe.
