Hawaiian SPAM® Sliders Recipe

Hawaiian SPAM® Sliders are delicious mini sandwiches made with slices of SPAM®, grilled pineapple and sweet Hawaiian rolls, creating a delightful blend of savory and sweet flavors reminiscent of the Hawaiian Islands. These Mini Burgers take just a short 40 minutes to make and you’ll be on your way to Hawaii and the Aloha Spirit!

Ingredients
  

  • One 12-pack King's Hawaiian Buns or other Mini Hawiian Buns of choice
  • 1 can SPAM® sliced into 1/2-inch pieces, then pieces cut in to 1/2 (sided to fit buns)
  • 1 can Pineapple Rings
  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 12 slices White Cheese such as White American or Provolone
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch Green Onions chopped finely
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions
 

  • Spray a large saucepan with cooking spray.
  • Place on stove on medium low heat and add SPAM® slices and pineapple rings.
  • Cook until just starting to brown, flip and cook the second side the same amount.  Remove from pan and set aside. Continue cooking SPAM® and pineapple rings until all are cooked.
  • In same pan, fry eggs, 1 or 2 at a time, sunny-side-up, until all are cooked. Set aside.
  • Place SPAM® slices back in pan and melt cheese over slices.
  • Combine mayonnaise and green onions. Mix well.
  • Spread mayo-onion mixture over bun bottoms and tops.
  • Place a cheese-covered piece of SPAM® (trimmed to fit if necessary) on the bottom buns.
  • Add 1/2 slice pineapple ring.
  • Add 1 egg (trimmed to fit if necessary).
  • Top with top bun and serve.
